BrightScope raised a second round of $ 2 million

San Diego BrightScope base, which launched earlier this year, helps people understand their 401k retirement plans and how to maximize profits.

It is a much needed service: the company says that 30% of workers do not participate at all in your company 401k programs. 22% do not contribute enough to maximize the benefits associated with business, and 80% of workers have no idea how much they are paying in 401k and other administrative expenses. BrightScope sheds light on this and help people take better advantage of these programs.

The company has raised a second round of $ 2 million in funding led by Steelpoint Capital Partners to continue to build the service.
